Royal Enfield is volunteering in new segments very soon. After the launch of the most awaited Continental GT 650 and Interceptor, Royal Enfield is currently working hard on its next launch. Well, Royal Enfield has been assessing the Scrambler version of Classic models on the roads for a longer.
The Royal Enfield Scrambler will be the very first of its kind straight from the Indian producer. The bike is mainly based on the Royal Enfield Classing, one of the best-selling bikes of the brand. But it might be given in 500cc version and 350cc engine might not be available with the Royal Enfield Scrambler at the time of the inauguration.
What do spy pictures reveal?
The spy images of the bike reveal that it would get a number of modifications, which sets it apart from the rest of the model. To begin with, there would be a different handlebar, re-positioned foot pegs, and an up swept exhaust. It would provide a much-relaxed and enjoyable ride than the regular Classic version. Royal Enfield has even added a new seat type with it. It is a single seat along with a metal rack at the rear to hook up weekend luggage.
The engine is even expected to remain intact. It would be powered by the air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which is even available with the Royal Enfield Thunderbird and the Royal Enfield Classic. It churns out 41.3 Nm at 4,000 rpm and 27.2 PS at 5,250 rpm. The 500cc engine of this bike gets electric fuel injection system and it also gets a 5-speed manual transmission.
Estimated price of Royal Enfield Scrambler:
The estimated price of the Royal Enfield Scrambler is to be much higher than the Classic 500. While you can get the regular Classic 500 at Rs. 1.8 lakhs, the Scrambler version is anticipated to get a price tag of around Rs. 2.1 lakhs. Let you know that Royal Enfield would equip the bike with rear and front disc brakes and the dual-channel is even hoped to be standard in this bike.
